Groups for the Wikipedia Article assignment will be presented on this page. (However, groups must be formed in D2L in the Discussion titled "Wikipedia Article Collaboration Group Formation." )

The first member of the group should create a new page a link to a new page for the group by following these instructions:

1) click "Edit" on this page

2) place your name and a name for your drafting page (something catchy other than "drafting page"-- because if you use "drafting page" everyone's links will go to the same page and no one will be able to view his/her page) in the list below

3) highlight the name of your drafting page and click the icon for links (the globe with the chain link under it)

4) Click "OK"

5) Click "Save"

6) Now click on the link that you have saved

7) In the dialogue box that pops up, under "page content" click the radio button next to "use a template"

8) In the drop-down menu for templates, choose the "Sample Format for Collaboration Page"

9) Click "Create Page"

Be sure to include the names of all of the group members.

The page that you link to here will be the shared workspace for your group.  It will also be the main part of the Wikipedia Article assignment that will be graded. See the Sample Format for Collaboration Page and the Grading rubric for more information about what will go on the page.
